An exquisite antique Victorian locket from the late 1800s featuring intricate chased patterning on both sides, a shield on the back and a beautiful laurel wreath on the front, dotted with turquoise leaves. 

Laurels are a symbol of triumph, with the unbroken wreath also demonstrating eternal love. Similarly, turquoise is considered a stone of everlasting love and remembrance and is fitting for a locket containing the images of the ones you love most. 

The shell is 18ct gold gilt and has remained in excellent condition, with windows within ready to house your beloved family photographs so they remain forever close to your heart.
